Api10 Propolis Drop Developed at Namık Kemal University Techno Park

It Has Three Times Higher Values by Dissolving Pure Propolis with Milk Acid

What is Propolis?

Propolis is used in the production of leaves, stems, buds, etc. of plants in order to protect the food, larvae and themselves from various pathogenic microorganisms and viruses in the hive. It is a resinous substance that it collects from its parts. The bees make propolis by making this material they collect biochemically modified with the enzymes they secrete from the glands on their heads.

How Should Propolis Be Consumed?

Propolis, in its first collected form (in the form of raw propolis), contains various external substances and wax. The primary reason for this is that it is extremely sticky and is obtained by scraping from traps or hives. It is not recommended to consume it in this form (raw propolis) due to the loss of useful ingredients in the human body and the presence of foreign substances that will be mixed during scraping and collection. Instead, it will be more advantageous to consume it with the separated extract form.

What do we offer you?

As can be seen, many different inputs affect the quality of the final product.

For this reason, we consider each stage separately.

1) Raw material: we only use domestically produced raw propolis, so without leaving any doubt, we both support the beekeepers of our country and start with the production of quality raw materials. The raw materials we supply are analyzed and classified, so we prevent regional content differences.

2) Solvent type: We only use solvents suitable for human health, so we produce in its purest form without alcohol, without using any preservative colorants or flavorings.

With the R&D studies we have done, we have achieved three times higher solubility than its closest equivalent by dissolving propolis with lactic acid.

WHAT IS IN PROPOLIS CONTENT?

Flavonoids are plant phytochemicals that cannot be synthesized by humans and are known to have positive effects on human health. Other components of propolis are caffeic acid and its esters, aldehydes, aromatic esters, terpenes, lignans and phenolic compounds. Of these substances with biological activity, the greatest effect is seen in flavonoids. The secretions collected from the plants by the honey bees mix with some enzymes secreted by the bees and enrich their contents. All these substances make propolis a multifunctional substance.
